“I wanted … people to listen to the pulse of nature, to partake of the wholeness of life and not forget, under the pressure of their petty destinies, that we are not gods and have not created ourselves but are the children of the earth, part of the cosmos.”

Born in the capital city of South Africa (Pretoria) in 1989 to a family lineage of creatives. Vincent’s artistic endeavours started at an early age, with his talent developed throughout his school years. In 1998, his family migrated to the south near Cape Town where he spent his most formative years. He completed his final school year in 2007 and despite dropping art as an official subject (believing it to be indoctrinating) he continued to explore painting and drawing.

Between 2010 and 2012, Vincent studied architecture at the University of Cape Town where he obtained his bachelors degree. From here on he worked at multiple architecture firms whilst also experimenting with furniture design and sculpture. In 2017 he continued his studies and graduated with a masters degree in architecture.

In 2020 he registered as a professional architect. Since then, he balances

his architectural profession with artistic output in various mediums from his home studio in both South Africa and Germany. In 2023, he became a founding member of FoMo Fine Art Gallery where some of his works are to be found, as well as in the private collections across SouthernAfrica and Europe. He has also featured in several group shows, publications and charity auctions.
